The Dunkin Donuts K-Cups Break Room Experiment

 

     Like many people I need my coffee in the morning and occasionally throughout the day.  I recently started a new job and the first thing I noticed was that every department had a Keurig with an abundance of K-cups.   While taking a tour of the departments I noticed one of the managers had a box of Peppermint Mocha Dunkin Donuts K-Cups on her desk.  That’s when I realized, while each department had an abundance of K-Cups, they didn’t have the best which is of course, Dunkin Donuts K-Cups.   Every day at least three of my co-workers can be seen toting around a disposable Dunkin Donuts cup so it would make sense that Dunkin Donuts K-Cups would be popular but I want to see just how popular they are and what flavors are the most popular.  Peppermint mocha Dunkin Donuts K-Cups smell like Candyland with a chocolaty mint aroma as they are being brewed (at least how I imagine Candyland would smell) while original Dunkin Donuts K-Cups have a distinct scent with the ability to fill the air of any break room with the aroma of familiarity.  My first mission will be to test the power of the aroma of various flavors of Dunkin Donuts K-Cups.   Throughout my work week I will wait for several coworkers to be in the break room and then I will make the flavor of Dunkin Donuts K-Cups  of my choice and gauge the reactions.

 

The contenders:  Original, French Vanilla, Hazelnut,  Pumpkin Spice, Peppermint Mocha, Mocha, Dark Roast, and Hot Cocoa.
